O'Dea vs Gig Harbor . . .

O'Dea vs. Gig Harbor

The O'Dea Fighting Irish, lead by Coach Monte Kohler, came out strong on Thursday night . . .
and played a great game in their season opener against Gig Harbor!!

Fans saw more of a throwing game Thursday night than usual . . .
with the first play of the game being a great catch by #86 Alexei Oro
which lead directly to a touchdown by quarterback #8 Pierre Le Dorze.

Throughout the game there were also catches by #3 Bobi Sims (2 point conversion),
#11 Mikel Owes, and #9 Jack Murphy!

O'Dea's Offensive line was tough - allowing for multiple touchdowns by O'Dea's backs . . .
two by running back #6 Myles Gaskin (with rushing almost 200 yards in the first half) . . . and one by full back #42 Jack Flor . . .
with one more touchdown by quarterback Pierre Le Dorze.
It truly was a great night for the Offense!

The Defensive Line and backers looked absolutely AWESOME as well on Thursday Night . . .
adding to a great winning combination for O'Dea!!

Overall . . . O'Dea played a very solid game with few errors . . .
each player did their job, they played as a team,
and it showed - both on the field . . . and on the score board!

Well done gentlemen!!

Due to a major lightning storm Thursday night . . .
the game was over at half time.

Sad to see the game end so soon - but so glad to have all our boys safe!!
Final Score - O'Dea 35 / Gig Harbor 7

. . . . .

A big Thank You to all of O'Dea Fans that came out to
show their support . . .

You are truly O'Dea's 12th MAN . . .
and the boys LOVE that you are there cheering them on!!

Can't wait for the next game against Ballard . . .
